Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. (RES Canada), an affiliate of Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc., was founded in 2003 and is based in Montréal, Québec. RES Canada is active with the development and construction services in most Canadian provinces. RES Canada is the developer, constructor and owner of 198 MW of wind farm projects in Ontario, which began construction in 2010.

RES Canada Transmission LP, a subsidiary of Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc., was formed in Ontario in 2011.  The purpose of this business is to develop, own, construct, and operate transmission facilities.  The limited partnership holds its office at 1040 South Service Road East, Suite 200, Oakville, Ontario L6J 2X7.

Talbot Wind

Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. (RES Canada) an affiliate of RES Americas and Enbridge Inc (TSX, NYSE: ENB) entered into an agreement to develop a 99 megawatt (MW) wind energy project near Chatham, Ontario in which Enbridge will have a majority interest.

The Talbot Wind Energy Project was completed in December 2010 and produces enough clean wind energy to power 33,000 average Canadian homes. It utilizes 43 Siemens 2.3 MW wind turbines and, under the terms of the agreement, was constructed by RES Canada under a fixed price, turnkey, engineering, procurement and construction agreement. Siemens provides operations and maintenance services for the wind turbines under a five year, fixed price agreement. The Talbot Wind Energy Project delivers energy to the Ontario Power Authority under a Renewable Energy Supply (RES) III 20-year power purchase agreement.

Greenwich Wind

Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. (RES Canada) will develop and construct the $250 million project which will be located in the Municipality of Dorion and the Unorganized Territory of Spruce Current. It will produce 99 MW of clean wind energy, enough electricity to power 26,000 average Canadian homes. Construction will generate approximately 300 jobs and 8 direct operations jobs once construction is completed.
