Powering Change

RES GROUP

Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is one of the world's leading renewable energy developers. We work across the globe to develop, construct, and operate projects that contribute to our goal of a sustainable energy future for all.

In the thirty years since RES was formed, we have played a central role in the development of the global renewable energy market and have helped move the sustainable energy debate from the margin to the mainstream.

We have a portfolio of low-carbon energy technologies and a range of services which together can meet demand from the industrial, public, and commercial sectors on whatever scale.  Visit www.res-group.com for more information.

Large scale renewable energy facilities

RES has been an established presence at the forefront of the wind energy industry for over two decades. Our core activity is the development, design, construction, financing, and operation of wind projects worldwide. With a portfolio of more than six gigawatts constructed and several thousand megawatts under construction and in development, RES continues to play a leading role in what is now the world's fastest growing energy sector.

RES is also an independent power producer. We own and operate a growing portfolio of wind farms around the world currently totaling over 700 megawatts.

RES offers the installation of solar plants utilizing either photovoltaic (PV) or concentrated solar power (CSP) in America, Canada, and the Mediterranean region. We have the know-how, the resources and the project management capabilities needed to develop, construct and operate solar fields for large scale power generation connected to the grid.

RES has recently embarked on its first large-scale biomass power station developments. The 100 megawatt project in Blyth, Northumberland, and 100-150 megawatt Alexandra Dock project in Liverpool will generate green electricity for homes and businesses, provide 'green collar' jobs and contribute to the regeneration of the area.

RES is involved in the offshore wind, wave and tidal sector. RES Offshore offers integrated development, engineering, construction and O&M services for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Leading by example

RES is an innovative and influential leader in the global sustainable energy market.

The twin challenges of climate change and energy security are now undeniable. Growing demand for energy means that global warming, energy supply and energy security are now all high priorities for the international community. As a result, political leaders, organizations and individual companies are now looking for expert leadership in the quest for sustainability. Drawing on our experience in the energy industry, we can provide the ideas for a routemap for a low-carbon future - to meet short-term targets and beyond. And we can implement it by developing, constructing and operating renewable energy projects of outstanding quality and value.

In all areas of the Group's operations, RES is committed to achieving commercial success without compromising the highest ethical or environmental standards. The pioneering low carbon Group headquarters in Kings Langley in the UK as well as the new RES Mediterranean low carbon offices in Avignon embody our principles, underlining the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation.
