Large scale renewable energy facilities

RES has been an established presence at the forefront of the wind energy industry for over two decades. Our core activity is the development, design, construction, financing, and operation of wind projects worldwide. With a portfolio of more than six gigawatts constructed and several thousand megawatts under construction and in development, RES continues to play a leading role in what is now the world's fastest growing energy sector.

RES is also an independent power producer. We own and operate a growing portfolio of wind farms around the world currently totaling over 700 megawatts.

RES offers the installation of solar plants utilizing either photovoltaic (PV) or concentrated solar power (CSP) in America, Canada, and the Mediterranean region. We have the know-how, the resources and the project management capabilities needed to develop, construct and operate solar fields for large scale power generation connected to the grid.

RES has recently embarked on its first large-scale biomass power station developments. The 100 megawatt project in Blyth, Northumberland, and 100-150 megawatt Alexandra Dock project in Liverpool will generate green electricity for homes and businesses, provide 'green collar' jobs and contribute to the regeneration of the area.

RES is involved in the offshore wind, wave and tidal sector. RES Offshore offers integrated development, engineering, construction and O&M services for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
