Salary Range: Junior and Senior levels, based on experience

Description: Carry out site civil inspections to support the project and client. Control the civil subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet contractual requirements. MUST be willing to travel and live at worksite area for approximately 9 months per project (per diems provided).

Responsibilities:

1.	Inspect all materials and equipment supplied by subcontractor to ensure that it meets the project design and industry standard criteria.
2.	Inspect all excavations to ensure that the project and environmental requirements are followed.
3.	Inspect placement of mud mats to ensure project requirements are followed.
4.	Inspect the placement of all rebar to ensure that project design and tolerances are followed.
5.	Inspect all concrete placements to ensure that proper concrete is supplied and placed according to project design and industry standard work practices.
6.	Inspect all backfill operations to ensure that the project requirements are followed.
7.	Ensure project work outputs comply with standards and meets contract requirements by working with the Site Civil Engineer and technical groups.
8.	Represents the company to meet contractual requirements.
9.	Responsible to ensure SAFETY requirements must be met.
10.	Ensures Quality and Environmental procedures are maintained.
11.	Understanding of contract terms and ability to recognize discrepancies.
12.	Must be able to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers and supervisors.
13.	Regular attendance is an essential requirement of the job.
14.	Follow any other job-related duties/functions requested by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1.	Minimum 2-5 (Junior level) or 5-10 (Senior level) years of proven industrial experience includes the management of contractors to complete the civil portion of construction projects which include road works and heavy foundation work. Wind farm OR Power, Utility, Energy background is preferred.
2.	Needs expertise and the necessary skills to interface with the Client and will be instrumental in delivering on time cost effective projects.
3.	ABILITY TO TRAVEL, living at worksite for approximately 9 months. Per diems provided.
4.	Current and valid driver's license.
5.	Skilled in MS Office and Outlook.

Education:

HS Diploma, College work preferred.
