Salary Range: Junior and Senior levels, based on experience

Description: Carry out site electrical inspections to support the project and client. Control the electrical subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet contractual requirements. MUST be willing to travel, living at worksite area for approximately 9 months per project (per diems provided).

Responsibilities:

1.	Inspect all materials and equipment supplied by subcontractor to ensure that it meets the project design and industry standard criteria.
2.	Inspect all trenching for under ground lines to ensure that the project and environmental requirements are followed.
3.	Inspect all pole placements for overhead lines to ensure that the project and environmental requirements are followed.
4.	Inspect placement of all overhead and underground cabling to ensure that project design and tolerances are followed.
5.	Inspect all junction boxes and transformers to ensure that proper installation is performed according to project design and industry standard work practices.
6.	Inspect all backfill operations of underground lines to ensure that the project requirements are followed.
7.	Inspect all electrical terminations to ensure that they conform to industry standards.
8.	Ensure project work outputs comply with standards and meets contract requirements by working with the Site Electrical Manager and technical groups.
9.	Represents the company to meet contractual requirements.
10.	Responsible to ensure SAFETY requirements must be met.
11.	Ensures Quality and Environmental procedures are maintained.
12.	Understanding of contract terms and ability to recognize discrepancies.
13.	Employees must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, possess an appropriate valid driver's license, possess personal insurance coverage, and have an acceptable driving record.
14.	Must be able to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, managers and supervisors.
15.	Regular attendance is an essential requirement of the job.
16.	Follow any other job-related duties/functions requested by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1.	Minimum 2-5 (Junior level) or 5- 10 (Senior level) years of proven industrial experience includes the inspection of contractors to complete the installation of Sub-station, OHL's and Underground Electrical Infrastructure at various voltages ranging from 690V to 345KV. Windfarm OR Power, Utility, Energy background is preferred.
2.	Needs expertise and the necessary skills to interface with the Client and will be instrumental in delivering on time cost effective projects.
3.	ABILITY TO TRAVEL, living at worksite for approximately 9 months. Per diems provided.
4.	Current and valid driver's license.
5.	Skilled in MS OFfice and Outlook.

Education:

HS Diploma, Electrical Technical Degree or experience as Electrician preferred.
