Supervisor: VP, Human Resources

Description: The Human Resources (HR) function at RES Americas is a customer service function that creates culture appropriate solutions to human capital challenges to drive business success.  The role of the HR Manager at RES Americas is to provide HR business partner support to multiple client organizations. The support ranges across the spectrum of human resources including employee relations, learning and development, staffing, benefits, and compensation. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas of HR with particular expertise in employee relations and learning and development. We are looking for someone who has experience operating within a progressive business partner HR function. The candidate will need to have a deep understanding of learning and development with the ability and knowledge to develop and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with RES Americas management to create and implement overall HR strategy and priorities.
2. Develop and provide training for management on HR-related topics and issues.
3. Provide development based coaching for managers and employees.
4. Work with management to support the development of company employees.
5. Manage and mentor direct report(s) to ensure their career development.
6. Ensure appropriate communication with all levels of RES Americas personnel.
7. Develop, implement, and coordinate performance management programs.
8. Provide support to management on disciplinary action.
9. Support RES Americas' recruitment efforts to ensure the timely and appropriate staffing of all positions.
10. Implement and support all employee benefit and compensation programs.
11. Provide coaching to management team and employees consistent with company policy and applicable legal requirements.
12. Identify, develop and maintain policies and procedures; develop recommendations for improvements and enhancements to policies and procedures in accordance with RES Americas' management expectations and applicable laws.
13. Stay abreast of relevant HR-related laws and regulations and interpret and apply them.
14. Research trends and best practices in the field of human resources.
15. Promote the safety, welfare, wellness, and health of company personnel.
16. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of progressive human resources experience, including multiple years in a supervisory role.
2. Unquestioned integrity.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations.
4. Experience with all facets of human resources operations.
5. Demonstrate project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills based on analysis and evaluation.
6. Demonstrate ability to relate to all levels of personnel, from entry-level to executive management.
7. Prior experience creating and delivering organizational development initiatives such as leadership training, succession planning, climate surveys, etc.
8. Strong written and oral communication skills.
9. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
10. Experience with human resource management system(s) (HRMS).
11. Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and self-motivation.
12. Ability to travel 25% of the time as needed.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; advanced degree and professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR) a significant plus.
