Nine Canyon Wind Farm (Phase II)
Tri-Cities, Washington
The 15.6MW extension to the Nine Canyon wind farm was completed in December 2003. It comprises of an additional 12 Bonus 1.3MW wind turbines, and brings the total installed capacity at the Nine Canyon site to 63.7MW.
As with Phase I, the extension was built under an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract by RES Americas for Energy Northwest and it achieved substantial completion two weeks ahead of schedule.
