Sweetwater Wind Farm (Phase II)
Sweetwater, Texas
As the Balance Of Plant (BOP) construction contractor RES Americas was responsible for the design and construction (including turbine erection) of this 91.5MW wind farm.
The project was constructed from start to finish, including installation of two substations and eight miles of overhead line, within four and a half months of notice to proceed.
It became operational in February 2005.
